Biography

Rashad, from Harlem NYC, has a high energy, crowd engaging style of comedy. His balance of crowd work, act outs, improv skills, and relatable written material, make for a great performance by the young comedian.  His comedy influences include (in no particular order) Tony Roberts, Mike Epps, Martin Lawrence, Eddie Murphy, Dave Chappelle, Katt Williams, D.L. Hughley, Bernie Mac, Chris Tucker, Arnez J, and Chris Rock.

Rashad has opened for comedians such as the great George Wallace, Jay Pharaoh and Tony Woods. He has made his way through the New York Comedy scene performing and producing shows. Rashad is the co-founder and co-producer of Betta Not Bring Ya Kids Comedy Show since 2014, which has sold out Carolines on Broadway.  He has also performed at the world famous Apollo Theater for Amateur Night and Levity Live in Nyack. You can also catch him every Tuesday on DTF Internet Radio for Tipsy Tuesdays with Ari, Mike and Rashad Live! from 2-4pm and in the upcoming indie movie "And There Were 4" directed by Saquan Jones. 

 

Wherever he is, whoever he is around, his goal is to make people laugh and feel better about their day in that brief moment. Because for Rashad, Every Laugh Matters.
